Rubber baits with skirts and tentacles are increasingly popular – with both anglers and fish. In the USA and Japan skirted jigs are the bestselling baits for bass fishing but it’s not only bass that are crazy for the colourful Skirted Jigs - our native predators really fall for them too. Skirted Jigs are fished just above the sediment by jerk-like movements of the forearm. A pause of one to three seconds between hits on the ground is optimum to produce the best action and provoke a bite!

The advantage of the ‘Lipstick’ version is that it can be fished almost snag-free above stony as well as very soft or slightly weedy ground and is ideal for lakes. Additionally, the skirt and hook stand almost upright which results in a maximum hooking rate.

Available in three weights and two hook sizes. Colour: ‘black/orange, ‘fire tiger’ and ‘chartreuse/black’.
